My name is Amanda Schaaf and I am a senior at UNF. I was born and raised in Lake Worth, Fl. I knew early on I wanted a career where I was constantly learning and not stuck behind some desk in an office. I have always loved the beach and anything outdoors so studying marine biology was a "sponger" (haha, 'no brain'). My interest is in sharks, I think they are magnificent creatures. I look forward to the experience I will gain in the field as well as visiting varying ecosystems around my home state.
