Hey everyone

Hi everyone, my name is Amanda Small and I am a coastal biology major and a psychology minor at UNF. This fall I will begin my junior year. Originally I am from Maryland, and have gotten to spend a lot of time around the Chesapeake Bay and the beach. I really enjoy being outside, whether I am in the mountains, the beach, or my backyard. My love of being out on the water is what has inspired me to pursue a career in coastal biology, specifically conservation. This trip will allow me to experience a wide variety of the work that is being done in the field. I hope to work towards finding my niche within the field. I am excited for the trip and look forward to meeting everyone and learning a lot.
